Declare the declaration
Smear the sky with blood
Stain the ground with bright red souls
The bodies are the flood
Surround yourself with death
Create your own demise
Rip their hearts out of their chests
And devour the pain in their eyes
The bodies thrash around you
You watch as they slowly die
The blood, it pools around your feet
The wind is filled with cries
Air leaks from a punctured lung
As death creeps slowly in
You smile as they die around you
You relish in the sin
Souls seep out and fly around
Through Heaven and through Hell
You watch as the tattered pieces soar
Too many to count or tell
You’re left alone when the souls are gone
Surrounded by only death
You fall to your knees into the blood
And exhale your last breath.

This is a rather morbid poem. The first two lines had been in my head for days and when I finally wrote them down I kept going and wound up with "Declaration."
