You do realize you left me here
All alone
Fighting away my pain
Leaving me no where to turn
Don’t be scared
Being alone is what it will become for me
Soar away
Soar away from the pain of this cruel world
Don’t feel regret
You didn’t want to leave
I realize this now
You were my angel sent down
As treasured as gold
Earth wasn’t your last stop
It wasn’t a one way ticket God gave to you
Rise up with the eagles and soar home
Thank you for the happiness you brought me
Softer and more beautiful than silk was the encouragement you spoke
Don’t be scared of it you whispered to me when I found no comfort from my fears
Thank you
You didn’t want to leave me all alone
I realize this now, fly home

I wrote this when I lost something in my life that was very important to me. I realized that the anger that I felt was not justified and that with an amount of thinking, I knew you didn't want to leave me either.
