Try to Find My Place

As I shut my eyes,
The lights shudder.
The blind now see.
I clinch my fist,
Take a swing.
Where could I be?
Even though you tone out
The rain drops of my voice.
The deaf can now hear
All that I can do,
But you run so far
When I draw near.
Lose focus in me.
I lose interest in you.
Never will "Us" be off my mind.
I'm sorry, that I truly am.
I can't help this life.
I'm stuck in a moment in time,
Trying to find my place.
