So many important things to write
On pen to page
But the pen holds might
One touch, one flick of wrist
And out flows ink, out flows love
Out flows light
A moral, a message
A new view on life
It has to be passed on
But how?
Word to brain, pen to page
If only I could remember what I was going-
To say.
The ideas slip away.
