" 'You,' said he, 'are a terribly real thing in a terribly false world, and that, I believe, is why you are in so much pain.' "
-Emilie Autumn

"What is better? To be born good, or to over come your evil nature through great effort?"
-Paarthurnax

As I stood alone on that pillar of sacrifice,
I looked out onto the field where others stood to view my fate.
I looked out among the sea of faces,
In search of my family, in search of friends.
But as my gaze became clearer,
I found neither my family nor friends.
I soon realized that there was no sea of faces
Only a sea of grass.
As I stood alone on that pillar of sacrifice,
I looked out on the field where no one stood to view my fate.
I looked out among the sea of grass,
In search of hope, in search of forgiveness.
But as my gaze became darker,
I found neither hope nor forgiveness.
I soon realized that there was no sea of grass
Only a sea of death.
