A girl with her friends out having some fun
Trashing the van and enjoying the sun

Desires to travel the world and swim in the sea
All she wants is to let it be

Dreaming and wishing and observing the birds
Sitting in the grass with her head bowed, contemplating her words

She ponders her friends and all of her actions
Eating earths fruit and having satisfaction

Caring for nature and all her creatures
She only stops to think of all her features

Sharing her universe with a person loved dearly
She conquers her fears across the globe severely

All she can do is hope and pray
That one day she’ll finally get away

So she merely sits and reads
That one day she will get her dreams

Beyond doubt, opening a door to find alas another road
That lays a dark secret that’s ready to unload

The past is the past and should be compressed
But all that it leaves is a damsel in distress

She finds the courage and walks in new shoes
She changes the way her life is the be viewed

Never forgetting who she was, she played a song
Letting it move through her body, she finally felt she belonged

Her thoughts become clear and she camps on the shore
She was once so innocent, now she hardcore
