" Art is beauty everlasting "

My guitar sits upon my lap

Freeing me of this emotional trap

This appease, it's ease it comes to me

It speaks for me when I don't feel much like talking

It strums out all the lines of feeling in my body

Be it loneliness, numbing cold or apathy that got me

Dial 0 for me please, and ask the operator

If she could transfer me back to God

So I could ask him about all the tiny details

I missed the first time in that contract clause

It shouldn't be this f***ing hard, I know

To communicate myself to the ones I know

But maybe I missed the memo note

That casual reminder not to provoke

My temptation to dismay, disobey the common norm

A revolution every moment inside the heart of a newborn

You every seen a house of broken glass, fragile, serene

It's hard to blow a fragile element into beautiful figurines

But maybe that chill from the air conditioning gets to me

Sitting here, in my house with a few, by myself, all alone

But it's getting harder and harder just to see

Everything I guess I should've known

I wear a scar that bore repeating to those I love

Sometimes you can keep it all together that day...with just one more hug
