You think money
is all you need

You
will never experience
joy, love , or happiness.
You

are
so naïve to think
those “things”
don’t even exist.

You are deprived
of feelings

so
you look down
on others
who have the things
that you never even knew
you wanted.

You think you have everything
But you are really
The one who is

poor.
If only you weren’t
blinded by the money,
you could see

all
of the things
that I do

You have never lost yourself
in the moment.
You have never cried those
tears of joy.

You have no idea
what true passion is,
and worst of all,

you
don’t even care.

I wish I could show you
how to see in color
because all you see
is green.

If only you could
just let go,
you could

have
so much more.
If only I could show you
how much more
to life there

is
Too bad
All you care about is

money.

The structure of this poem is inspired by the author Ellen Hopkins. Every few words are indented away from the poem and if you read just the indented words it makes a separate poem from the poem as a whole.
