Lying in the city's street
Waiting for scraps to fall my way
I just hope someone will find pity on my soul
But they just kick me around like I'm a paper bag
I lie there in the cold rain and darkness
I know my needs and hunger will take me over
The day has come
No one remembers me
I am just a thing
Nothing special
I am all alone to die
This is not how I wanted to end this life
But I know to all of you I am just trash in the alley-
Nasty and ready to be thrown out.
