he's unraveling
She's thinking again
She's trapped
Behind the bars of poetry
She never submitted
Fear tore her apart
Ever look her in the face before
And see all those years
She's trapped
She's losing it
She thought of him siting
Like this before
With their body blocking
The door
Praying just for one night
To not be found
And she's terrified because
That's what she aches for
A night away
A day away
A life away
She wants to be gone
Away
She held her breath
That whole walk
In her dead world
The last escape she had
Her cemetery behind
The hell
But even that is not enough
Tolerance has built
As has the weight
On her thinning shoulders
Look at the way
She glances at her meal
She hates it
She hates herself
But everyone knows
And everyone makes plans
She'll never commit to
Why couldn't it be so easy
As snapping her fingers?
No one knows what to say
No one can help
No thing can help
Where will she go now?
Where can she go?
Will she go?
She closes her eyes and sighs
It's a nightly routine
She rolls over and tries to
Make it through
The battle lost
To a war that's gone on
Way too long now
I wish her goodnight
Now she'll dream of more
Pain to steal her
Can't she ever wake up?
Help her
Help me
