Goodbye
searched long the sky for setting suns
please fix those nails you've come undone
you're scratching hands of those that near
and calling names that cannot hear
can't take a stand without a crutch
you knew of some -- and talked of such
that wrote down 'dear' without no more
placing their notes right through the door
can't always wait for death to come
you know we live no more than one
to hold a hand you have to choose
first sit awhile then leave your muse.
