Love has come and hurried away
Lips that kissed and said goodbye
Arms that held and pushed away
The permanent became temporary
Broken, mended, and repaired
Time spent in hope and despair
The crushing disappointments
And the great triumphs
The company and the loneliness
None of them compare
Moments that make a person
Or break them
Words said in anger, lust, and love
Were all blindly given
Time has come and time has gone
Our time here is done
