Their was a neighborhood
Where a young girl lived
Every night she slept with her teddy
But this one night something happened
While everyone was asleep
A window in her bedroom opened
And a dark figure walked in
She opened her mouth to scream
But no words came out
He came up to her and cocked his
Head
"Do you know who I am?" he asked
She shook her head "No, I don't"
He called himself the Night Visitor
Who visited children he called
Special
Was she special?
He told her she was very late
For something
The girl asked for her teddy
And he said the teddy was dead
No more secrets to keep
She felt a smile creeping onto
Her face
He was right
The next morning she wasn't found
