Breakups Suck

So many times forever is cut short,
And we distract ourselves with friends or sports,
She who once proclaimed her love,
Leaves as easily as a fleeting dove,
And your left wondering if she was even real,
So we chain up our hearts and no longer feel,
We slap on a smile and ignore our bad luck,
Breakups Suck.

I can relate. Sometimes the pain just never seems to want to go away but I promise it will.  Just keep writing until it does, that's what always helps me.
