Discovering new stuff and high heels and short dresses or light night texts or calls

Long school hours and untidy bedroom and picking yourself up from the falls

Cocoa-cola and chocolate or crisps or study leave days on the beach

The media telling us what to do and how to dress and how to act like they teach

So no, it’s not all what you think
It’s not all knives and hoodies, drugs and drink
Always out of the fire and into the pan
