I don't know how to tell you this,
but I'll never leave again,
because your roots are entangled in mine.
If I ripped my roots from this earth,
they'd plant me somewhere new.
But you'd have pieces of me,
and I'd have pieces of you.

I find this poem awfully romantic, in somewhat of a scientific way. Well done. Wonderfully worded. Congrats on the Editors' Choice.
