''Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. Its about learning to dance in the rain.''

In his eyes
I soared to the sky
above every cloud and beyond the moon.
I had no fear of falling because I was safe in his arms.
Then in a moments breath,
all the light was knocked out of me,
leaving me in complete darkness,
as I began to fall.
I tried to scream,
but not a sound came from inside of me.
A million thoughts raced through my head.
Everything grew silent when I hit the ground.
I had many cuts, bruises, and broken bones, but what hurt the most,
was my shattered heart.
I soon became fond of the darkness.
I had talks with the quietness and
danced with the stillness.
Suddenly the light I once loved so much reappeared.
I quickly ran toward the light,
but instead of going faster and faster,
I was going slower and slower
until I came to a full stop.
There was a pain in my enormous chest where my should have been.
So, I turned back in to the darkness.
For I made the darkness my bed,
and in my bed I must lie.
