a foreign default
a taste of average
that i'm not familiar with.
the radio tells me
to take another sip
when i know
I've had quite enough.
the blonde smiles
tell me to go all the way
because why not?
it won't matter in
the morning.
the sun will still
shine and the future
will remain grim
so here's to lost faith
and broken boundaries


i'll drink to that.
