Dew drops cling to the grass,
Mist lingers in the air.
Fog obscures my vision,
While rain pelts my hair.

Thunder streaks across the sky,
Gloomy clouds float up high.
The trees are towering towers,
The rain goes on for hours.

The ground is a garden,
Full of nothing but flowers.
The flowers droop to one side,
As rain piles on top of them.

They resist with all their might,
From their wide leaves to their stems.
But the rain overpowers them,
Bringing their radiance to an end.
