THE CROCODILE
I revile the Crocodile.
His evil smile and uneasy looks,
leave me hanging petrified. In the darkness
of the night these gloomy thoughts jump
up and fright, then I know he is a foot.
Through the blackness his shadow looms,
lifeless, dessicated holes for eyes, and
I am hypnotized. My body rigid to the
spot, cold sweat oozing quite a lot.
Out of the haze I see, teeth jagged sharp,
with in the gooey sticky mess, festering stench.
I repel all of this prickliness, you may have it back I
yell. I will not surrender, to hell you
beastly beast . I wake with a start, you are a small scared exposed
for who you are, ignorant creature.

A Seal
How would it feel to be a seal.
Would I love- love the velvet softness,
and the snug close dreams of gentleness.
The healing slippery wet feeling. The pain and gain,
so confident in rain, if its all the same.
The light dancing.
Radiant warmth.
Golden spray.
A thousand colourful jewels.
Expanded horizon giving life.

WOW. Something about this poem strikes me in a scary way. It's wonderful.
