i love you was all she said
as she walked away from him
with tear in her eyes

she knew they could never be
for he was much older than she
he cried as she walked away

and she cried too
for they loved each other
but knew they had to move on

he told to make him a promise
that she would stay strong for him
and that she would always remember him

as she said that promised
something in her broke
some say it was her heart

others say it was her faith
but all they know is she changed
one day to somebody else

she started wearing all black
she started to never smile
then one little slit appeared on her wrist
