Me in paper-silk
That shone on nights
When I walked
ALONE
When you tattooed
Out your heart’s desire
On my skin
To encage me in the
Life you set
IN
Stone
You never stopped
To think what might have happened
Had you torn away
My flesh-and-bone façade
Tried to find the inside me
