This was written with a sad shaky hand
At 2:07am in nothing but tv light
A dim light guiding my hand to create
Words that come together
To make a beautiful phrase
That can't even compare to a fraction of your beautiful body
And I could write and write but it wouldn't ever match
My cross outs are your freckles
Because where I am flawed, I see it as beauty in you
I dont know what I achieve by trying
But writing keeps that part of you here
And that's how I cope with you not being with me
