And after all,
what is a word
but four letters
in a particular order?
meaning of course that there are millions of combinations but only some of them work.
Like a safe,
you hit upon the
right order
And you're in.
If you hit them
too hard
they float apart
with no sense.
Like the cards in Alice in Wonderland.
But you can do
many things
with these puny letters.
kill, create, love, hate,
hurt, promise, help, comfort,
embarrass, cheer up.
With spindly black
marks on a sheet
of paper.
