Tell Me How
Tell me how,
The moment you say it’s over
I’m in such a mental state
That I can’t even shed a tear.
Emotionless,
That’s what I’ve become.
Tell me how,
My dear,
That when I knew I lost you
My chain of absurd nightmares came to an end.
Now I’m haunted by the sweet dreams of you,
Only to wake up and realize,
Yet again,
That you’re no longer mine to hold.
Most importantly baby,
Tell me why.
Why did you choose to end things
Merely because I said “I love you”.
Not good enough,
I guess I am.
Tell me how,
Please just tell me how,
To cut the last thread of you
That my heart still contains.
When will the lingering pain from you
Just leave?
