I searched, but did not find.
I found, but was let down.
I hoped, but got broken.
I tried, but lost the will.
I understood, but was mistaken.
I left signs, but never pushed through.
I had love, but it was misshapen.
I dreamed, but had a nightmare.
I wanted one thing, but couldn’t have it.
