"I don't bite" This work is considered exceptional by our editorial staff.

Fire
I could care less
Burned
You look a mess
Come crawling back
But I was burned
I looked a mess
And you cared less
Down on your knees
Bloody, Broken, Beaten
Like I'm expected to accept
Being taken, being whole and eaten
Begging
You're begging
Sobbing "don't leave me"
But if I stay
You won't return the favor
I'm only a flavor
Just a taste on your tounge
Lingering
Like gold so rich
I'll stay
I always stay
But there's no thank you
We don't speak for weeks
Only a fleeting glance
And I'm left weak in the knees

Again
