Ticking To Each Other's Hearts

As human beings
We all seem to find ourselves
Ticking to some meaningless device
We walk by so many others
Unnoticed, they go by
Maybe if we stop
Pretending that we are only one person
And that the world revolves around only me
But Instead if we stopped
And listened to a random stranger
Had a cup of coffee with another person
We could learn that we are all one
That we all live our lives
That we all learn and love
That we all have something to say
Maybe we can learn to tick
To each other's hearts...
