Roller Coaster

At first you feel fear,
And doubt.
Your stomach clenches.
Your hands tremble.
Your heart sinks.
Maybe you shouldn't do this.
Maybe you should go back.
But as that thought crosses your mind,
You realize you don't want to.
So you go through with it.
You feel your stomach rise,
During the drop.
You feel the wind whip your face.
You feel tears stain your eyes.
And you hear the screams of other people,
As your body smacks into the pavement below.
It felt like riding on a roller coaster.
