The End of the World
I fear not the day
 When our fathers and
 Mothers fall away.
 Though abandoned,
 Forgotten and led astray,
 The path we walk is
 Always the right way.

 I fear not the day
 When all the colors
 Slowly fade away
 Until my eyes
 See only gray.
 Men are only men,
 We grow old anyway.

 I fear not the day
 When I am buried
 In stardust and clay.
 Although, my skin,
 The mud will flay,
 My skull and bones
 Will forever stay.

 Then in my ear
 You whisper softly
"If you run away, my dear,
I'll chase you till the world ends."
It is when I start to fear,
For my world has long ended
When I shed my last tear.
