sunlight glints on broken glass
my soul lies still and tattered
my greatest fears have come to pass
my life in all is shattered.
fall away, right through the pain
Hell's fire burns my heart
death is drenched in freezing rain
a bullseye for the dart.
i close my eyes and wait for sleep
and pray i'll never wake
for love is gone, i'm all alone
my life is god's to take.
clouds gather in the greying sky
determined now to fall
death beckons me; it's time to rest

I am taken by the swarm

steel shines bright, my path is found

and know that i've found peace
