Emmanuel Exists
With the tears of god falling on my head
I look toward the heavens to cry as well
Knowing that one day I will rise through the clouds
No longer able lust upon this beautiful world he has created
My thoughts wander and they write on my walls
In an illegible manner as if it were Arabic to an English man
Knowing that one day I will witness above the clouds
Lost in my own incoherent ways, I’d wish to return
A portfolio of sins displayed to the world
Because when I have left that is all that will remain
All things tangible will become non-existent
And finally my soul will open and be washed by his tears
My father will state, “I cry for you, my son died for you, now no person can lie to you; I, your heavenly father, am real. So love me as I love you.”
