Perfectionist
The slow poison.
Drowning under waves
of waves of waves of
perfect grammar, perfect problems, perfect tears.
Chants of "you're too (anything, everything) for this"
and
"Stop trying so hard"
Only keep pulling me under
neath the
waves.
What if I'm too (everything, nothing) to do this?
What is the opposite of perfection
if not
failure?
