You were in my dreams last night.
I honestly thought I'd never get to talk to you again.
But, in my dreams last night, I did.
I never expected to feel your heart beat against mine again.
But, in my dreams last night, I did.
I hardened myself to the reality that I'd never feel your warm skin pressed to mine again.
But, in my dreams last night, I did.
And since my dreams last night, all I can think about is you.
