they would not
be big ideas
they would not paint
art for worldviews
they would not
hold metaphors
with You as the dawn
they would not
be turned into
beautiful songs
nor make the sky cry;
if i had words for You
they would not be marked
as elegant words everlasting
no,
if i had words
for You
they would be made of
simple flames
simple truth
kept in a circle
where they begin
continuously
with You
and always end
with me
in your heart.
