You say ‘I love you.’;
And I say ‘ I know.’;
Because I always knew;
Because you gave it away;
Because I always know;
Because you’re always so painfully obvious,
With your just-happy-to-be-with-you smile
And
With the careful-not-to-break-you touches;
Because you’re just perfect like that;
Because you are in my eyes;
Because it’s just so painfully obvious
That we love each other;
So with a I’ll-never-let-you-go grip;
And
My not-taking-anyone’s-s***-attitude;
I say ‘I love you;
And you say ‘I know.’’
