The days pass by so quickly
The pounding in my heart
The aching in my back
The unbearable feeling of trying to act like everything is okay

You try and build yourself up
But someone is always a step behind you
Waiting to bring you down
One minute everything is fine
And the next, you feel like your stomach is about to fall
Fall right out of your butt
It’s quite unpleasant
You run and run
But realize you’re going nowhere
