I Had a Dream
I had a dream,
That the whole world smiles in unison,
just at different times,
throughout the day.
Everyday.
That people would conserve their energy,
by using those 22 muscles,
to smile,
at least once.
Everyday.
That the world boycotted those 37 muscles
we use when we are mad.
That as one mass of people,
we decided to show off our dimples,
and puffed up cheeks,
and smile.
I had a dream,
That the world,
drops it’s shoulders,
and releases the tension.
That the world comes together,
to create one,
big,
happy face.
I had a dream,
That the anger won’t go away,
but still,
amidst the problems,
the world would take a minute to be thankful and happy.
I had a dream.
But then I woke up and I realized that this dream
it starts,
with me.
So now,
I have a goal.
