One shot of lust
And the world twists and turns
In directions and dimensions
I hadn’t known before.

I’m drinking in your smile,
Drunk on the ghost of your kiss.
I love the way your lips curve
Like the moon when it smiles back.

I’m drowning in your pupils,
Dancing in the fields of your irises.
I’m picking pretty petals,
Asking flowers who you love.

My lips loosen,
My teeth fall upon my tongue.
I can almost taste the blood
Of the words I never said.

First dentistry was painless.
Then bicycles were chainless,
Carriages were horseless,
And many laws enforceless.

Next cookery was fireless,
Telegraphy was wireless,
Cigars were nicotineless,
And coffee caffeineless.

Soon oranges were seedless,
The putting green was weedless,
The college boy was hatless,
The proper diet fatless.

New motor roads are dustless,
The latest steel is rustless,
Our tennis courts are sodless,
Our new religion — godless.

yup.......yup.......*sigh*.......yup. this just about says it all:/

This is hauntingly beautiful! The end is so disturbing I love it :D it's like it starts out pretty then rots ........like a modern fairytale or something. 5 stars!!
