Craving the acceptance of the
so called “popular crowd”
hoping one of them just might happen
to notice you
trying to add in small remarks as they
speak their venimous words

If only people would realize
how much cliques are overrated
how much harm they cause to others

Not realizing the “it” crowd is not
even truly happy themselves
from the time they wake up and
paint on the porcelin face
to the time their head hits the pillow
analyzing each regret of the day

If only you knew how special you are
your uniqueness makes you, you
don`t ever change for someone
