Stars
Standing here next to you
In our own little world
Watching the stars as, falling down
Like precious little pearls
Falling from the fragile string
That held them all together
Thinking that we will be
Lasting till forever
Our bodies young
Our souls so fresh
Our hearts so warm with joy
Letting emotions sink into our flesh
The world is ours to toy- with
We can mold and shape
Everything as we wish it
For we both know it was fate
That made us both so fit to be
The world revolves around you and me
Our dreams we can live them
Our hearts can rejoice
And they will all be in awe
Of the sound of our voices
For we sing so merrily
Us, when we are together
Nothing can match this
Nothing can be better
You and I; traveling
Around the world we’d go
Not even thinking
About the people so
Against us, you and me
They envy, oh, our freedom
For we both know, it’s plain to see,
What they fear we would become
Let’s laugh at them
Let’s run away
Let’s never look back
Wait, let’s look back at everything
We thought was a fact
The stars are falling
They are dying
We, however, are young
Let’s not be ordinary
We both know, with that,
We are done
