The heart of the damned
Beats ever so slowly
It loves ever so quickly
Leaves the mind so boldly

The heart of the damned
Creates its own image
Perceives the world of hate
As a world of vision

The heart of the damned
sees no wrong and feels no hate
It only loves
And then it's too late

The heart of the damned
Is where my heart lies
Its hope is good morning
Its fear is good bye

The heart of the damned
Will never know
That through all the hatred
It is a heart of pure gold

For this heart of the damned
Will never forget
It will never move backwards
It won't ever regret

This heart of the damned
Loves all that is lost
And would give up itself
With no extra cost
