Somedays I’m as green as growing grass
fresh from the spring rains.
New blades cleaning up after a dark, dirty winter
The cleansing brings a bright focus.
Other days I’m a warm topaz
bubbling from cuddly blankets on my couch.
Giggling with my friends and exploring new ideas.
Comforting and safe in my golden mood.
