Like Riding
a Bike.
Remember that
rhythm and
flight.
Reminded of
the streams
and forest
rushing by.
Like natural
instincts.
Walking and
running.
Gone for
me.
All I
hear said:
bye bye
to freedom.
Chained to
a thing
I wish not
to be with.
If only
one second
off.
Down bumpy
asphalt and
dusty trails.
My mind calls
to before
the wheelchair.

This is a simple piece I thought of while on a bike ride. Those of us who take it for granted that we can walk, run, skate, ride a bike...this is for the ones who don't.
