Jitter Bug
I've got the jitters in me.
 They flutter about
 Like butterflies in a jar,
 Or suspense reaching climax.

 The jitters are a curse.
 They hold me captive
With not the slightest intentions of setting me loose.

These jitters have the best of me.
I can feel them taking over,
and I can feel anxiety creep in.
 Unwanted and unprepared.

 Jitters like a swarm
 Shaking like a rattle
