Death
But one stepping stone
One rock into the pond
A bloodstained handhold
In their path to greatness

Names
Forever immortalized by fear
Written in books
Scribed in courts
They are our link

Secrets
The backbone of killers
Bags holding the body
An evidence-hiding glove
The reason they succeed

Life
As meaningless as they make it
Blood is replaceable
Souls can forget
They, however, cannot

Morals
Most have some
Tell right from wrong
Say we're all human
That's how they blend

Serial kills
Over and over
Not always caught
An alive nightmare
They are hidden with real sheep

Death, Names, Secrets
Life, Morals, Serial kills
Synonymous with
Fear and blood;
Flesh and bone

Their reign of terror has just begun.

I've always marveled at how horrible things get remembered more than good ones.
