Gazing endlessly towards the sky,
Wondering if there are lands hidden from eyes,
Looking at the trees so high,
Wishing that I could be a bird and fly,
Watching the rain fall in a perfect rhythm,
Hoping to see its beautiful origin,
With all these dreams,
I thrived each day,
I was young,
It was a never realized blessing,

But soon the leaves of my life grew yellow,
Facts confined me,
Obligations bound me,
With all the nightmares,
I stumbled through my life!

Then the leaves turned brown,
And I found a mystic world,
It was hazy and foggy,
But more clear than ever,
My world was a dream,
Or rather it was the other way round,
I understood,
I regretted,
I conceded,
And
I found peace!
