So many words unspoken unheard,
Lost forever yet close to the heart,
Images gleam from the forgotten past,
Making me wonder how long the present will last.

Each is a mirage, it’ll disappear before you know,
Hidden is the truth seldom does it show,
One moment is all it takes to break,
What you’d formed putting yourself to stake.

I found this poem in one of my poetry books. I wrote it when I was feeling down because of the past. Hope you like it.
