The Way You've Changed

I hate the way you've changed,
The way you walk now,
The way you laugh now,
The way you talk now,
With a swagger that you've
Completely conjured up.
You try so hard
And notice so little.
I know what it's all for-
It's for Her-
But what of us?
Us! Your loving friends.
Us! The ones by your side.
And what of me?
Me! Who saw you vulnerable.
Me! Who knows who you are-
The real you, the raw you,
The one who was shy,
And sweet, and perfectly awkward, and caring,
And, and-
I hate the way you've changed.
