A risk I am willing to take
My math and science are perfect
The forbidden science is there for the trying.
A risk I so foolishly overlooked
The cost too great to even imagine
A fool I was
For putting you in danger
The prize is forevermore out of reach
Never to be taken
I lost something trying to force it
You lost everything trying to help me
You can never gain anything
Without first giving up something of equal value.
